英語+スペイン語語彙増強講義14

英語が話せないという前に日本語できちんと説明できるかをチェックしてみることが意外と大事です。例えば次の動画の絵を見て、日本語で説明できるでしょうか！そのあと英語でなんというか考えてから、確認してみてください。簡単な動詞が出てこない！意外と難しいものです。

water the plant, hang up the laundry, fold the laundry, surf the net, phone people, feed the dog, do the dishes, take a break, iron the clothes, walk the dog, read the news, take a taxi, wait for the bus, paint the picture, dust the house, rake the leaves, sweep the floor, paint the house, clean the window, cut the grass,  take out the rubbish

スペイン語でも確認してみてください。命令形にしてみました。

riegue las plantas, cuelgue la ropa, doble la ropa, navegue por internet, llame a alguien, alimente al perro, lave los platos, tome un descanso, planche la ropa, pasee al perro, lea las noticias, tome un taxi, espere el autobús, pinte el cuadro, saque el polvo de la casa, rastrille las hojas, barra el piso, pinte la casa, limpie la ventana, corte el césped, saque la basura

*水をやるは regar、葉をかき集めるは rastrillar か recoger hojas con rastrillo です。お皿を洗うは  fregar が一般的ですがどちらかというと磨くという感じです。英語の定冠詞の訳に要注意。集合名詞の the はスペイン語では las plantas や las noticias のように複数形を使うと便利です。the laundry、the house や the dog のような特定名詞・抽象名詞につくthe は定冠詞 el と laで okです。
