① app – a computer program that performs a particular task (such as word processing)
アプリケーションの略、ワープロのように特別な作業をするためのコンピュータープログラム

② blog – a Web site on which someone writes about personal opinions, activities, and experiences 自分の意見、活動、経験を書いたウェブサイトのこと

③ website – a place on the World Wide Web that contains information about a person, organization, etc., and that usually consists of many Web pages joined by hyperlinks
人、組織などの情報を含むウェブ上の場所、ハイパーリンクによる多数のウェブページから成りたつ。

Lesson 21 のあらすじです。Anna meets her friend Marsha in a coffee shop. Marsha asks Anna to come to a party. But Anna has to take a driving test. Can Anna come to the party? アナはカフェで友人のマァシャと会っています。彼女はアナにパーティに来て欲しいと言いますが、アナは運転免許の試験があります。アナはパーティに行けるでしょうか？

① card – a small piece of stiff paper that is used for playing games

③ driver’s license– an official document or card which shows that you have the legal right to drive a vehicle

④ night – the time of darkness between one day and the next
一日と次の日の間の暗い時間

⑤ perform – to entertain an audience by singing or acting
歌や出し物で聴衆を楽しませること
⑥ trick – a clever and skillful action that someone performs to entertain or amuse people
手品、人々をもてなしたり楽しませたりする器用で巧みな行為のこと
